The operational and financial performance of a company is only valued if it is accompanied by an equivalent performance in health and safety at work.
Due to our agri-food activities, health and safety are priority issues for Amidjor. Our goal: “zero damage”.
To achieve this, we are deploying an action plan based on risk analysis and the systematic analysis of accidents and incidents to prevent their recurrence. We are also deploying daily awareness raising among employees in the field to improve prevention.
Safety is everyone’s business. That’s why each employee contributes to it by adhering to Amidjor’s security policy and by constantly adapting their behavior to security requirements.
Awareness remains essential to achieve and maintain a high level of security. It begins at the start of each workstation and continues regularly with the organization of anomaly hunts to ensure proper compliance with standards, particularly with regard to the wearing of protective equipment and the prevention of risky situations.
To maintain and reinforce this requirement, our safety approach is subject to an internal and external evaluation at each of our site.
Amidjor reaffirms its commitment to build a culture of health and safety at work, through the adoption of a new Health & Safety at work Policy, signed by all the members of the Executive Committee as well as all Directors of Operations. The new Policy is based on 6 commitments:
– Firmly believe that any accident can be avoided
– Invest the tools, resources and means necessary to avoid accidents
– Create a proactive culture of safety
– Evaluate everyone’s performance
– Encourage the reporting of all incidents
– Encourage all our partners to make commitments similar to ours
